The CCC / Hx2 Lounge

During the CCC congress 2012 I was manager of the Designteam, who was in charge of developing the lounge in the Hx2 area. This area was the "Dutch department" at this large German festival. The Lounge consisted of a large tent, decorated with soft carpet, beanbags, and lots of pillows.

To develop this lounge I've worked together with people form all around the Netherlands and Belgium. A couple of meetings were in real life in a hackerspace, other meetings were online on IRC. We also collaborated on a community wiki.

The lounge itself looked quite a lot like the HAR2009 lounge. The floor was coated with a carpet, there were beanbags and pillows. We used a lot of stuff we still had from other lounges and made some new stuff.
